The role is responsible for institution-wide workforce planning and is a part of Human Resources. It does not support a customer contact/call center.
Manages processes and programs related to strategic workforce planning, to include consulting, headcount forecasting, scenario planning, and gap analysis. Delivers solutions to support workforce planning and modelling to effectively manage resources that support UTMB’s operations. Works across the organization supporting our mission of education, research and healthcare delivery, and interfaces with leaders, various levels of staff, and Human Resources colleagues (HR Technology and Workforce Analytics, Talent Acquisition and Recruitment, Talent and Organizational Development, and Employee Relations) to deliver results. Produces a five-year workforce plan that is integrated into key business planning and operating priorities. Develops an annual operational workforce plan that aligns to five-year forecast and examines short-term staffing needs. Monitors actual staffing results with performance to determine if additional adjustments to the staffing models are required.
$105,600 to $132,000, salary commensurate with experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management/Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or related field and 8 years of progressive, professional level workforce planning, human resources management/development and/or related experience.
Master’s degree, human resources or training certification (e.g., Senior/Professional in Human Resources, Certified Professional in Learning and Performance), and 4 years of workforce planning experience.
