Essential functions of the position:
This position is primarily responsible for the global projects and initiatives of the Servicing Department. This position provides project management and subject matter expertise for major projects and systems enhancements of our operating systems. This manager works closely with all Servicing Teams and Business Systems to achieve joint goals. The position will define operational needs, prepare business case analysis, develop business requirements, map existing and to-be process, perform user acceptance testing, and manage the project requirements. This position will focus on strategic innovations and on developing strategies around operational activities; it may provide support for the Lease End Servicing team, Servicing Support and Customer Service Call Centers. Key projects may revolve around Siebel CRM, Master Data Management (MDM), Consumer Web Site, Core Servicing System and other productivity-based projects.

Act as business project lead for Servicing Team interacting regularly with members from Business Systems, IT, and operational team leads to ensure business requirements/needs are appropriately captured and implemented
Provide oversight and expertise for Servicing Team; develop a thorough knowledge and understanding of all Hyundai Capital America (HCA) systems and business applications. Work closely with Business Systems and Servicing to ensure workflows maximize productivity and efficiency
Develop strategies to enhance operational performance. Work closely with operational teams to implement strategic changes. Develop monitoring tools to assist operational teams in managing new processes, workflows, and procedures
Review proposed changes to operational functions recommending appropriate solutions. Provide detailed analysis of proposed changes and develop business case for recommended changes
Identify and develop reporting as required to support business projects and operations. Prepare ad-hoc analyses related to issues noted during review of operational reporting. Support EDW initiative and develop improvements to existing reporting through this means. Review and propose changes to incentive based pay, customer care, and other key KPI’s and metrics
Prepare presentations to support recommended changes, enhancements, or departmental accomplishments. Support all recommendations with appropriate analysis and backup materials
Assist with preparation of annual budgets. Ensure efficient and effective cost alternatives are evaluated. Provide reporting as appropriate for budget, projects and other operational expenses.
Manage and monitor vendor relationships. Provide performance and SLA analysis and recommendations.

Secondary functions of the position: 
Superior project management skills and demonstrated competency with research, analysis, and project leadership.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain system and technical subjects to a variety of audiences. Strong knowledge of operational systems, operationally related software and business tools, Microsoft products, data analysis tools, presentation software, and data management software. Must be able to apply this knowledge in the financial services environment.
Demonstrated process improvement skills with an advanced ability to conceptualize and design new methods for practical application. Effectively manages and leads change in a project role.
Ability to work in a self directed manner with minimal direction and oversight.
Able to work well both as an individual contributor and as a team member. Strong interpersonal skills.
High degree of subject matter expertise in financial services industry particularly as it relates to system and operational workflow matters.
Effective multi-tasker with ability to rapidly learn systems and processes.
Skilled with project and presentation software including: PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, Excel, Access, and Word.

EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION 
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Statistics preferred.
3+ year’s relevant experience, including two years in the automotive finance industry.
Project Management experience.
