At Northwestern Mutual, we are constantly seeking opportunities to challenge our team and foster continuous growth and development. That’s why, starting in 2023, we offered our workforce management team the option to embark on the CWPP certification journey. My own certification journey highlighted its challenges — I had to retake two of the three exams — but it was immensely rewarding, ultimately leading to my certification in 2024. I’m thrilled to report that we now have seven team members proudly certified, with three more on the exciting path to joining their ranks!
We believe offering CWPP certification opportunities to our workforce management team was crucial, not only to enhance our already strong credibility with our internal business partners but also to enhance our workforce management, project, and presentation skills. By investing in these opportunities, we’re building a team that’s not only great at workforce management but also supportive, always there to cheer each other on as they go after their certifications. Additionally, through studying and preparing, many of our team members have gained valuable insights and knowledge of practical use cases that have significantly enriched their everyday work.
The certification process demands a lot of studying and preparation, and it won’t be easy. However, earning it is a major achievement, marking you as a credible member not only within your organization but also in the contact center workforce planning community.
