February 22 –

Take time this week to pause and reflect on the past year and set your intentions and aspirations for the year ahead. Here’s a quick exercise you can do:

  1. What went well:Make a list of 3-5 things that served you well in 2020. These can be big things or little things, but they should have made a positive impact on your life.
  2. What would you do differently:Pandemic aside, what 3-5 things could you have done differently to make your life this past year a little better? These should be things within your control or influence.

Now, using your answers from above, set some resolutions for yourself in the year ahead. Write them down and save them in a safe place where you can frequently refer back to them when you need guidance or inspiration.

If you really want to make your resolutions stick, share them with a peer, a mentor, or your team. Invite them to participate in this exercise too. Success is easier to achieve when you hold yourself accountable!
