Position OverviewProvide a brief outline of the purpose of the position.   Consider how the position supports the overall goals of Tiffany & Co.
The Sr. Analyst – Workforce Planning analyzes current demand to develop a staff deployment strategy that yields optimal use of budgeted hours and human resources to meet the needs of the business. This position also forecasts schedules and oversees intra-day deployment of staff. They are also responsible for the waving functionality for the operation. Lastly, they create and distrbute key reports and metrics for the operation as needed.

Develops and Forecasts Schedules -·         Forecasts volume for all functions within the operation determining the necessary staffing plan.·         Develops optimized schedules that incorporate job rotations as needed.

·         Recommends staffing and shift changes to management based on volume and staffing trends, escalating issues as necessary.

·         Establish hiring plans based on long term forecasting, including reporting attrition, hiring, flexing, and training timelines.

Manage Intra-Day Scheduling-·         Manage the intra-day re-forecasting relative to business needs. Recommends appropriate assingments as needed to make sure forecasts and operational goals are met.·         Re-forecasts staffing requirements, including running data for overtime, convenience leave, and additional resource requirements in accordance with budgeted goals.

·         Pro-actively monitor staffing and operational performance, including maintaining communication with front line management.

·         Initiates the running of waves for order fulfillment.

Required and Preferred QualificationsSpecify the number of years of job-related experience; type of degree, certification, licenses and any specific technical skills that are required or preferred. Indicate any specific attendance requirements (e.g. evenings and weekends).
Required Qualifications: • Bachelors degree required in specialized field such as Supply Chain/Logistics, Finance, Data Analytics or Industrial Engineering• 3-4 years experience in production and resource scheduling in a manufacturing, call center or warehouse/distribution environment• Lean/Six Sigma and/or Project Management (PMP, CPM) certification

• Strong communication skills with the ability to gain consensus and influence change

• Excellent PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft applications

Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in a Retail, Pharma, or a CPG multi-national company, particularly within the supply chain• Demonstrated process improvement results of a fiscal, lead time, or business process nature• Experience with Manhattan Associates suite of WMS applications and Labor Management products, or comparable vendor

Adept at building and leveraging relationships across functional and personnel levels
