As part of that team, you’ll be responsible for the staffing projections and scheduling of various operational functions across Postmates, including our order fulfillment, customer, merchant, and fleet support teams. You’ll make  Postmates the best on-demand logistics platform in the world by ensuring that we have appropriate coverage to meet our aggressive SLAs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and manage site scheduling function
  • Develop and drive strategic initiatives to optimize scheduling and reduce costs
  • Create and maintain the staffing models and schedules that enable all Postmates call centers and support teams to maintain their SLAs
  • Develop and continuously improve the tools and processes that enable accurate service level forecasting via alignment across the business, accurate data, and performance reporting
  • Proactively identify and resolve risks created by holidays, promotions, and market launches/expansions
  • Collaborate with human resources and functional leaders across the organization to ensure that hiring meets staffing needs

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience with short-term and long-term forecasting, planning and scheduling a call center environment in high-growth organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results—you see the big picture, hold others accountable, and streamline processes to hit your goals
  • 3+ years management experience
  • Must possess strong analytical, strategic, decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Deep interest and aptitude in data, metrics, analysis and trends
  • Ability to learn and manage multiple technical systems
  • Experience with popular WFM suites, Microsoft Excel, SQL, and statistical modeling software
